Hubie urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

My temporary housing does not allow pets and I need a safe home for them until we’re moved into a pet friendly home.

How long is fostering needed for?

A few months

Hubie is a very low every guy. I call him my Good Boy. He takes yard security very seriously but his bark is just that, all bark. He loves attention.. pets, cuddles staring adoring into your eyes. He is a perfect lap companion if you can handle his weight, appropriately 30 pounds. He is crate trained but does not care to be inside long. He does not care for leashes and will cry and attempt to wrestle away. He came to me at around 6 weeks old but was the size and mobility of a 3 or 4 week old puppy. They were malnourished and their mother delivered him and his sister to my garage one evening. He’s not really a special needs dog.. as he doesn’t require any thing medically.. just patience and grace. He doesn’t like to be carried, walked on a leash or go for rides. He will take food that he can reach, if left unattended. He also piddles when he’s excited or nervous. Carpeted homes may not be a good fit. Other wise, he just enjoys laying in the sun, soaking up pets and sleeping as close to humans as you’ll allow.
