Harley urgently needs a foster home
Why is fostering needed?
We found out her owners abandoned her after she wandered into our yard. She continues to run into the road in front of our house when she wants to explore. People will exceed the 55mph speed limit regularly. I’m afraid she’s going to get hit. I’m actively trying to find a no-kill shelter or home.
How long is fostering needed for?
Until a forever home for pet is found
Other notes
Harley hangs out on the porch most of the time but she does like to explore and is pretty curious. She likes to play with a ball and generally be around people. She is good with children. She’s not very responsive to commands when she decides to go explore. She will sit before given food or treats. We have been working on her taking treats gently. She allows me to pet her when she’s eating her food however has barked at my children when they’ve been near. I’m currently unaware of how she would be around other animals as she’s only been at our house for one week. A fenced yard or land away from any roads where she can explore would be best for Harley.
