Hachi urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

I need your help in accepting my 9 years old dog to your shelter. Hachi is a beagle mixed with English bulldog. He is 55 pounds and has all the vaccines updated. He is healthy and energetic for his age. He is friendly, sweet and playful. I broke up with my boyfriend and I have to move to a building which doesn’t allow pets. All my family members are in China. I have two jobs on site so I don’t have enough time to be with him. As he gets older, he needs more attention and care. I have to find someplace where he gets more time with people and attention.

How long is fostering needed for?

A few months

Other notes

I got Hachi from a pet store when he was 3 month. He has been with me for 9 years. It is a pain for me to send him away. He is playful and energetic for this age. He runs around to chase the toys and loves the fetch game. He easily can go for 2 mile walk on a daily basis. He doesn’t bark much and he doesn’t need a lot of attention after a long walk. I don’t feed him human food so he is very health and has no health concerns. He is muscular and fit. For the new home, I hope the owner is more patient because the senior dog needs time to adjust the new living environment. The dog is stubborn so the owner needs to be consistent with training. I hope the new owner has more time to be with Hachi.
