Guantes urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

I recently moved back home to my parents from Santa Cruz and they’re having a hard time adjusting to my cat, Guantes. He’s not wanted and need to find a home for him as soon as possible because they want him out immediately. They want me to surrender him to a shelter right away, but I know that he will be extremely stressed and I simply can’t do that to him. I know he knows he’s not wanted and has been depressed because of it. I’m in desperate need of help. He’s very sweet and playful and I know he will thrive in an environment where he feels safe in.

How long is fostering needed for?

Until a forever home for pet is found

Guantes is extremely playful and frisky and enjoys the companionship of other humans. He does not do well with other cats, but I see potential in him being socialized around them. Guantes loves the attention and will provide lots of love and cuddles in a home where he can get attention from multiple people if not someone who can devote their attention to him. He’s extremely curious and loves to go outside, on a harness of course. He also enjoys good scratches on his face and all throughout his body. He can have a bit of an attitude, but as long as he knows he’s loved and cherished he’ll make sure to return the favor. I use to live in Santa Cruz so his primary vet is located there so he will have to relocate to a local animal clinic.
