Goliath urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

Has behavioral issues like not confident and is protective so my family is making me get rid of him until a have my own place which i’ll be 3-6 months at most hopefully.

Goliath is very sweet and loving but lacks confidence, is reactive and protective. He loves attention and is very treat motivated. He doesn’t know many commands as he’s never been trained but is a very quick learner. Before I adopted him a few months ago the shelter told me he had bitten someone who got into the back yard so he is territorial. He also has lyme disease. He loves tennis balls and tears them up but does not swallow the pieces. He loves cuddles, belly rubs, and sleeping in the bed with his caretaker. He is an amazing dog but just has some issues that can be fixed.
