Gemma urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

There was a death in my family and the dog can no longer be cared for. I plan to rehome the dog myself, but cannot do so until I move in February-April 2024 timeframe. Seeking a foster home for her until that timeframe when I can take her in permanently.

How long is fostering needed for?

A few months

Other notes

Since Gemma’s owner has died, I know that she has struggled a lot. She is not receiving the necessary love and attention she needs to thrive. She might also be malnourished. The days that I did spend with her, I noticed she is a very sweet girl with a loving temperament and playful. Her play style was unique to me – she plays with a human as if you’re another dog. It seems to me that she would thrive in an environment with a dog friend. She’s definitely on the smaller side, maybe 50-60 pounds if I could guess.
