Finn urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

I have no one to keep my dog while I take a week long trip. I have a terminal illness and now may be the only opportunity to do this.

Other notes

He is a smart, well behaved affectionate dog who loves to run, is quiet in the house, in the yard (most of the time) and in the car. He has only one difficult behavior: he is protective of me and he bit someone, a stranger, when I was walking him on leash. He now wears a muzzle when I take him for walks. He has no medical or dietary issues, he seldom barks. He likes to play and can get worked up and a little rough but responds to the command “be gentle”.
He would not adapt well to being in an apartment where there was ambient noise that he isn’t accustomed to and didn’t understand, he would bark. He has a fenced yard but prefers to be with me in the house.
