Ellie urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

My son lost his home in Hurricane Ida. He was unable to care for his dog and was going to bring her to the local animal shelter. Instead I took her in hopes to find a rescue that would get her to a good home. The dogs name is Ellie, she is a lab/pit she is almost two years of age and is up to date on all vaccines and heart prevention. She is scheduled to be spayed on February 9 with the laspca in New Orleans. I am unable to keep her permanently and I am trying not to surrender her to a shelter but I am needing someone to foster her and find her a good home. She is a loving dog. She always wants to be close to you and if she wants your attention she will jump up and slide her head in the slightest crack and get on you. She follows you wherever you go and cries when she can not see you. When she wants to go outside to potty she goes by the door and cries to go out. She is such a sweet and loving dog but she does have some guarding traits. She needs to be in a home by her self and someone to show her lots of love and attention. Can you please help.

How long is fostering needed for?

Until a new home is found

Other notes

Ellie has no health conditions, she is up to date on all vaccines and heart prevention. She is set to be spayed at the laspca in New Orleans on February 9.
