Dyna urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

My temporary residence has small dogs already, and my large breed dog does not get along with them well enough to stay and not be under constant supervision.

How long is fostering needed for?

A few months

Other notes

Dyna was found abandoned with no microchip at a gas station and brought to the family she had previous of us. July 2024 will be a year that she has been apart of our family. She is somewhere between 3 and 4 years old. We don’t know if she’s ever had puppies, but it looks like she may have in the past before she wandered to the gas station she was found at.

Dyna is an absolute love bug. Once you start petting her she won’t let you stop until she’s had enough! She loves to play fetch as well. She loves to snuggle up and watch tv with you. She doesn’t fare well with small dogs, but it could easily change with proper training. Large breed dogs tend to work better with her. We don’t know how well she is with cats. Loves to chew on bones and treats! If she has a fenced in yard, she loves to free roam. If unfenced, she just has to have an eye kept on her due to her sometimes roaming on her own.

She can be picky when it comes to food. She prefers kibbles and bits t-bone flavor over a lot of brands. Can be food aggressive, so best to feed separate from other animals. Can be in same room, just not side by side each other. Is fully house trained. Crate trained too.

She does have a spring allergy. We haven’t had her long enough to see for ourselves what that fully entails, but have been told that it’s skin irritation.

We love Dyna so, so much, and want what’s best for her. We don’t know entirely how long foster would be needed. We’re having to start from the ground up ourselves, and the house we’re able to stay at unfortunately has small breed dogs and she does not get along with them well enough to stay unattended.
