Duke urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

I’m in the process of moving to a smaller place and unfortunately, I can’t bring him along. I adore him so much that I don’t want to give him away to just anyone. I’m really hoping to find someone who’s open to temporarily Foster him. Duke is 9 months old, crate trained, and incredibly affectionate. He’s also fantastic with kids.

How long is fostering needed for?

A few months

Other notes

Duke is 9 months old. He is crate trained and walks well with his leash. He’s a very active dog and plays great with my kids (13 & 6 yrs old). He’s extremely affectionate, well behaved when he is home alone for long hours while I’m at work. He sleeps well through the night.

He loves going with me on walks to the park and he loves to play with the kids. He gets a little excited and jumps on the couch with them but listens when I ask him to get down. One little downside on Duke is that he’s obsessed with socks and eating paper lol. But other than that he’s the BEST. One day when I was having a panic attack, he was downstairs (our gate was closed) he heard me crying out and he pushed the gate to get to me. Just goes to show how loving he is, he did not leave my side until I calmed down.

He eats his food well and gets along great with other dogs. We have a mini chihuahua and they get along great.
