Dude urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

Medical emergency, need to leave the state to receive care until June. Not only do I have no one to care for my dog, due to impending medical bills I cannot afford to board him for this time as an option.

How long is fostering needed for?

A few months

Other notes

Dude is a quirky and loving dog, he is reactive towards other dogs until he knows them due to lack of socialization as a pup before we adopted him. He is heavily food and affection motivated. He LOVES to run and play, being outside as long as you will let him. He is good with kids of all ages but due to his occasional hyper activity I ask that he not be fostered to a family with small children or small pets, or even other fur babies of any kind, as I don’t know how he does with cats or small animals. He would do best to be the only dog in your home, he loves cuddles and definitely sheds like a German Shepard. He is incredibly intelllifent and loves to train. He is kennel and potty trained and knows a handful of commands including : sit , stay, lay down, drop it, shake, go play, go , no, etc.
he loves new experience but it’s heavily aware of the energy of those around him, if you are not grounded and confident he can sense it and sometimes becomes overstimulated. He has never shown any aggression food or otherwise towards any human, and is honestly just a 5 year old in a dogs body. We truly love our boy. We need to foster him from April-June asap. Thankyou for reading.
