Dapper (Dap) urgently needs a foster home
Why is fostering needed?
We are transitioning to a new place…we have reached the end of our lease and have to be out this week. We have not been allowed to renew our lease because of late payments, and failure to pay rent on time for multiple months, due to my husband’s business diminishing post pandemic. We are trying to get back on our feet, and looking for an affordable home/apartment within our price range, as well as having the help now of rental assistance through the state. However, we need to find a home whose pet policy is friendly, and get stable first… As we already have a nine month old baby girl which is already a transition. We truly love our dog, and did not want to just give him away to anyone. We went back in our home and in our lives.
How long is fostering needed for?
A few weeks
Other notes
Up to date on Vaccines…Healthy… Spayed/neutered… Dap is a sweetheart, has never bitten or nipped anybody. Trust him completely around my baby girl! Dap loves other dogs, super playful. Never seen him around cats, so I wouldn’t know. But playful as can be with other dogs. He loves blankets so he can burrow in them. If you say “where’s your toy, he’ll go run and bring it to you lol. He will eat table food. Eats hard dog food (Beneful Orginal and Healthy dog food brand). Sleeps in dog bed, not a crate (only when people have left the home). He responds to Dap, Dapper, and Dapper Diddle. We are looking to be moved within the next 2-3 weeks actually. We have already started the application process and a couple of potential places.
