Dakota and Maggie urgently needs a foster home
Why is fostering needed?
I’m moving in with my son and his landlord does not allow dogs
How long is fostering needed for?
A few months
Other notes
These babies are sweet souls, they are kennel trained, it’s an extra large space for them and that’s their bed. They are not barkers as I trained them from taking them to my salon for so many years, they will let you know when someone is at the door though. If you lock them in their kennel when you have company they’ll stay calm. They both are almost 14 yrs old, I will provide a large bag of dog food, some wet food and dog treats as they are only use to a specific kind. They are good with cats and other small dogs, but large dogs may make my female protective. Chihuahuas are known for having little man syndrome. I will also provide extra blankets for the kennel. I would love to be able to come visit them take them for walks as I am going to miss them so much and I’m only doing this because I’m moving in with my son and landlord said no more animals. We are planning on moving out of state in April so I will need temp foster until then. My male Dakota has always had anxiety since being a puppy meaning he’s afraid of people and animals, once he knows he can trust little by little he warms up, Maggie loves everyone but both are not use to small children. This will be a big change for both of them so if my male stops eating it’s because he’s feeling separation anxiety which is why I’d love to be in contact with them during this transition. I know that would help overall.
