Colt & Glock urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

I need help immediately, my dogs, whom were in the care of my mother, are now in the local animal control where she had been arrested & hospitalized. I need all the help I can get, I need someone to take my dogs out of that animal control facility & care for them until such time I can get myself a bigger place for me to be able to take them back. I am all the way in Colorado & my dogs are in Savannah Georgia. And there’s only four days left before they become property of the state at which point the state is most likely to kill them. Yes they’re two dogs, they’re brothers, can’t be separated, and yes they’re Husky German Shepard mixes. Please, get back to me as fast as possible.

How long is fostering needed for?

Long term

Other notes

They are somewhat alright with children. Glock is very good with children, but Colt needs to get used to or warm up to before being good with children. They are leash trained, potty trained, recall isnt good so need to be kept an eye on & need to be in a fenced or walled outdoor enclosure. Colt has more of the German Shepard personality and can be pretty protective and has a bit of a silent alpha. Glock has more of the husky personality & is a special, he has the adhd/autistic energy that’s typically associated with huskies. Two meals a day, require long walks, they need to be kept super cool in the summer & warm in the winter & yes they love the snow.
They’re both very good boys.
