Coco urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

I am a graduate student who adopted Coco here in NC. I now have clinical rotations in various states for the next 6 months and I cannot bring her with me. I really don’t want to have to give her up and relocating her to my family back home in Minnesota has become a complicated process to navigate.

How long is fostering needed for?

Coco is a super friendly dog, crate and potty trained. She’s low energy in the house and just likes to cuddle but is high energy outdoors. Indoors she’s trained to not get on beds but likes laying on couches (and people). She loves being outside, we’re still working on leash training so she pulls a lot. She loves car rides. She likes meeting new people and dogs. She has a big bark but she’s friendly and it’s out of excitement. I call her a fake guard dog because her bark is intimidating but she metls as soon as you pet her.
