Coco & Bailey urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

I moved to Maryland after the sudden death of my mom. The housing market is very competitive here so I’ve been staying with a relative that absolutely hates dogs. She has threatened to kill my dogs or call the dog catcher. She told me today that I need to go or the dogs. I have a small child with special needs so I can’t be homeless. I don’t want to put my dogs t sleep so I need to find them a temporary home so someone can love them until I’m able to find a home which hopefully will be no longer then 2-3 months. I have two pets one is the puppy to the mom they won’t do well separated but if that’s my only choice then it will be fine.

How long is fostering needed for?

Cocker spaniels are wonderful animals. These two come from a kid home my oldest is 14 and youngest is 2. The mom dog coco has been around the baby since the day he came home from the hospital. She’s very protective of him but very laid back she allows him to pull her tail and ears and she doesn’t snap. The baby puppy Bailey listens very well he can go to a dog park and run without a leash and come back to you. He likes small children. A typical day is the two wake up fairly early and go for a morning walk then they come inside to eat and they take a nap and a few hours later they go for a second walk. And another meal later in the evening and two more walks before calling it a night. Coco was raised to not be caged but since moving into my aunts home we have been forced to cage both dogs .
