Chompers urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

My mother is being taken off of life support and she had 4 cats that will no longer have a home. I have tried to find someone to adopt them on my own thru social media and nextdoor, but no one has reached out with interest. I am panicking because I love these cats with all my heart and would take them on myself, but I have 3 cats and am having to sell the house and find an apartment somewhere and no where will accept all these cats. I’m at a loss and will do anything in my power to avoid taking them to a shelter. Please help

How long is fostering needed for?

Until a forever home for pet is found

Other notes

Chompers is an 11 year old spayed female. She was only a couple weeks old when I found her under a freeway overpass with her eye nearly popped out if it’s socket and her tail broken. The vet removed the eye for a better quality of life but the tail had fused and did not cause her any pain or discomfort so we opted to leave it as is. Though we don’t know exactly what caused her injury, we did everything in our power to make her feel safe in a world that had caused her so much pain. Because of the trauma she suffered, Chompers Isa little quirky. She is very sweet and gentle, but can sometimes get a little overstimulated if pet too much and will get a little mouthy. But she does love quality time and attention but truly doesn’t require much of it. Chompers is very independent and enjoys her days lounging around and especially getting the chance to find a sunny spot in front of a window or door to sunbathe in. She adores feathers! If you give her anything with a feather on it, she’ll lick it inutile it’s sopping wet. Chompers may technically be special needs but that has never slowed her down!
Chompers would be perfect for someone that is home a lot or little. She is calm, quiet, and truly one of a kind.
