Chloe urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

Potentially will be displaced from my home on small acreage. Chloe, adopted 4 years ago, is an Anatolian Shepherd. She will have shelter shutdown and high severe if placed in a shelter. She’s used to 2 acres and routine. She loves being outdoors just sitting on the porch and enjoys our daily walks. She’s sweet, playful and good other dogs but not cats. I am in am active crisis financially and from DV experience. I take her everywhere I go, shes my sole companion and support. I need to regret the work force and cannot keep her inside or outdoors while away, she loves human company and is sleeps inside at night in her own bed but really prefers the porch bed and being outside watching over her property and me. She is a great alarm system but doesn’t bark randomly she’s extremely intelligent and trainable – off the charts smart and full of try. She learns so fast. My life is going in a different direction abd I want what’s best for her. She is such a great dog. Aporix 5 yo, in great health. I don’t know if I’ll be in my home within the next 2-6 months. I’m trying to place her before an housing emergency presents and am forced to take her to a shelter. She’s 90 lbs, love to relax and will run in in shorts bursts on the property then immediately relaxes. Shes the best Home Security there is . Shes learned the patterns of our neighborhood and won’t bark at neighbors cars dogs or people -only barks briefly if she detects the sound of an unfamiliar vehicle and her bark will vary depending on the level of threat. Incredible dog. Highly sensitive abd needs a foster who understands this breeds needs strong calm leadership and space to thrive. She is incredibly intelligent and open to training.

How long is fostering needed for?

Until a forever home for pet is found

Other notes

Highly intelligent dig, requires fenced acreage and loves her daily walks. Her energy level varies based on the person and surroundings abd situation. Shes learned to be discerning and is quiet and aloof of new people but will be affectionate. She loves to relax and stay in elevated locations on the protocol keep watch. When loose she rubs right back home. Lots of videos of her. She likes routine and CALM consistent leadership and always “ checks in” on her person.offers Lots of soft direct eye contact and loves chest and leg scratches. She is good with other dogs.condone if a prey drive but it’s being taught out if her. She likes instruction avd to be taught . Knows sit, lay down and no. She is sensitive to body language and understands a simple, chastising “no” and responds VERY well to consistent training. Shes indoor outdoor but prefers a comfortable spot on the covered front porch or back deck. Good with children. Forbes very strong Bond
