Chase Turnage urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

My name is Sharon and due to structural damage we were temporarily relocated out of our home for repairs. While we await the repairs to be done we instead have been given temporary accommodations that do not include our dog. My dog is an emotional support dog which has helped me through some traumatic experiences. It would be mentally hard on the entire family to lose our pet. We just need a temporary placement for him until we move back.

How long is fostering needed for?

A few months

Other notes

Chase is a playful but loving dog. He likes attention, belly rubs, and affection but not too much or he’ll pee from excitement. He has his moments when he can be hyper and his moments when he can be chill and the biggest cuddler ever. He loves attention from others and gets very intrigued by other animals. He’s not used to other animals but when faced with another he likes to sniff and be under them. Some habits he may have that could annoy you is he’s a barker usually from outside noise or meeting new people in his space such as his home. He enjoys daily walks. Sleep is pretty normal. When it comes to food sometimes he eats and sometimes he won’t but you leave it out long enough and he will finish his food. He is trained and will go on the pads however he will pee and poop outside if walked and knows how to sit and wait when told with a little treat. He doesn’t have a specific schedule or diet but we like to feed him twice a day morning and night and usually eat hard food with a little bit of chicken . He doesn’t have many allergies except for a chemical located in crayons. Also he is vaccinated. Overall Chase is an all around family dog who is loving, smart, needy and affectionate in his own doggy way.
