Why is fostering needed?

I have Recently become homeless and I don’t have a safe place for my cats. Currently, they are in my car with me

How long is fostering needed for?

Other notes

All 3 of my cats are very friendly, very social and very mannered. They are Potty trained and rarely have accidents
