Champagne urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

An employee found a Pitbull/Boxer mix on the side of the road and she has been boarding in our facility for 6 weeks. We have not been able to find a foster for her so far but we have a rescue group who will take care of rehoming her if we can find a foster.

How long is fostering needed for?

Until a forever home for pet is found

This silly, sweet girl Champagne needs a loving furever home! Champagne is a 48 lb. red & white Pitbull/Boxer mix, and is estimated to be around 16 months old. She is currently boarding at Harmony Animal Hospital in Apex, NC after being found living outdoors with her sibling in a difficult home situation. She is sweet as can be, energetic, and has gotten a clean bill of health! She is spayed, heartworm free, up-to-date on vaccines, and has been treated for intestinal parasites. She does very well with other dogs and so far when our house cat has approached her run door, she has not shown any aggression. We can’t say for sure what her house-training manners are like, but she has not soiled her run in the 5-6 weeks she has been boarding with us. She might need some work on her leash manners (just pulls hard).
Beautiful Together Pet Rescue will help find a forever home for these sweet playful girls, but we urgently need to find a foster so they can be in a home and not living in our animal hospital. Harmony Animal rescue Clinic (HARC) in Apex, NC will cover any medical expenses that arise in the time they are being fostered. She is a great dog and deserves to be in a loving home.
