Cali urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

Hello, I am moving into a smaller place that will not allow my dog to live there due to weight restrictions and breed restrictions. I am unable to stay where I live now because of a change in my family situation.

How long is fostering needed for?

Until a new home is found

Cali is all love once she warms up to you! Before the age of 1 she had a traumatic experience of being kidnapped, under fed and potentially abused by a trainer for 3 days. She has received training since, but she has a hesitation towards new people. She will need to sniff you out and build confidence in who you are and your intentions with her before she wants to be touched or given any affection. The best advice is to allow her to come to you. She gets along perfectly with other dogs and we’ll socialized when it comes to other dogs. She currently attends a day school 6 days a week and is very active! She drives in the car with a seat belt, she is crate trained and sleeps in the crate, she eats 2-3 times a day, She is raised on being raw fed- but recently 2 months) transitioned her to kibble. No health issues, loves attention, playing with balls and stuffed animals, goofy personality, and overall appreciates affection and being close to you.
