Bella urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

My elderly neighbor was taken to the ICU and is now in a rehab facility. Her two dogs have been alone in her house for 2 weeks with only daily visits to let them out and feed them, and it’s expected this will go on at least another month. They need temporary foster until she’s released from care or until it’s determined that they should be rehomed.

How long is fostering needed for?

Bella is a 2 or 3 year old Australian Shepherd. She is very sweet but skittish. She will need help with socialization, leash walks, and potty training. She has lived with another dog but has not lived with children or cats. The dog she lives with now is a 12 year old sweetie named Lady who is also in need of urgent temporary foster care. The dogs can be fostered together or separately.
