Bella urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

I am helping my father rehome his pets. He is disabled and had to be moved to a care home for 24/7 care that does not allow pets.

How long is fostering needed for?

Until a forever home for pet is found

Hi Future Family!
Our names are Roxie and Bella! We are a bonded pair meaning we thrive when we’re together and not apart. Just think of it as endless amounts of love times two! Sounds like a pretty good deal, right? Our mom passed away in May. She was our dad’s caregiver, and we miss her very much. Our dad recently moved to a care home where he can get the help he needs, but we aren’t allowed to go with him.
Roxie is a 10-year-old Aussie doodle. She goofy and comical, and very loving and affectionate. Bella is a 9-year-old Chihuahua/Jack Russell terrier mix. She is loyal and protective and can be shy at times, though is eager to trust. We can both be vocal when new people approach us or there are loud noises, but warm up quickly and just want your affection.
You might also like to know we love humans (kiddos, teenagers, and adults alike!), love cats and doggos who are similar or smaller in size, and we know how to make you laugh! And wow do we love running with the best of them in a fenced yard, cuddling under blankets, and getting butt scratches and belly rubs from our humans!
But we all have our quirks! Our mom and dad have been sick for some time, so we’ll need a little extra help at first. Someone who knows the value of TLC and going slow knows the value of us! We would thrive in a home that could offer medical care and further training support. We would also benefit from someone who has experience with or someone willing to learn and help me grow in behaviors relating to fear/anxiety/stress as it pertains to the new or unknown.
All this to say, we can’t wait to thrive in our new home and love the family meant for us! Ready to take a chance on love? Our years may be golden, but our best days are ahead!
