Beastie urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

My current housing doesn’t allow pet and my mother who was caring for my dog can no longer handle caring for him.

How long is fostering needed for?

A few months

Beastie is a huge cuddler, he’s happy no matter where he is as long as he’s next to you. He’s great with our 5 year old, and did good around our newborn. He does ok with cats but does get excited and try to pounce which can be scary because he’s pretty big. He doesn’t do good with other dogs. He barks loudly and sound mean but is a big baby. He does great indoors, and prefers to be off leash when outside but does good on the leash also. When going for walks he does pull when excited or seeing other pets. He does better when he goes on walks more often. He’s gets excited when you get home but doesn’t play with toys very much, occasionally likes tug of war with very long ropes and adults. He was afraid of playing tug of war with our child. He loves giving kisses and getting belly rubs. Doesn’t like baths, or getting nails trimmed. I will be willing to come and help with care as much as needed. I just can’t have him at my current living place. He’s doesn’t like to be alone for too long and he loves car rides.
