Baker urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

Baker is a rescue and we are unable to keep him in our apartment. We have had him fixed, vaccinated, and chipped. He’s with another temporary foster family who is unable to keep him for very long either, so we need to find a new home for him very soon.

How long is fostering needed for?

Until a forever home for pet is found

Other notes

He is still aggressive with other cats. That may just be his age and only recently being neutered and still working off hormones. He can get a bit aggressive with hands while playing, but can easily be directed to an appropriate toy. He will either need to be an only cat or able to be separated from other pets while still having plenty of space for himself.

He loves rubbing up against you and getting lots of attention. He’s also very chatty and social. He loves to play with feather toys, knows how to use scratching posts, use a litter box, and doesn’t mind getting his claws trimmed. He’s a really long and slinky cat when he stretches and can curl up into an adorable little black hole to take naps. He doesn’t seem to know what to do with boxes yet but enjoyed hiding in a paper bag. He also goes into a carrier on his own. He’s a bit chatty in the car but no screaming (so far).

He’s very food motivated and eats wet and dry food in a hurry, so he shouldn’t have free access to dry food. He also drinks plenty of water. And he enjoys playing with a trickle of water in the sink. He’s very inquisitive about everything and deserves a lot of space to explore and play.
