Athena needs a foster home

Athena is a large mixed breed spayed female weighing approximately 55 pounds. Athena and her brother Thor were surrendered by their owner because they played too roughly with the children and with each other. Athena is a very people social dog. She appears highly trainable. We aren’t sure if she is housetrained yet. She is also quite good at escaping fencing so we are looking for a foster that will be committed to walking her on leash to be safe rather than putting her in a fenced in area. Athena is at the Henderson County shelter until we secure foster for her.
