Athena urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

My husband and I found ourselves in a crisis situation- where we’ve had to temporarily move to a location that doesn’t allow pets. I have my wonderful ESA 8 month old puppy. We are looking for a temporary home for a few months for my dog, Athena. We unfortunately (due to crisis situation) are not able to afford much. We’ve been trying to reach out to friends and family and haven’t been able to find anyone who is able. We will provide for all of athena’s needs. She hasn’t been spayed yet, and she has most of her shots just not the boosters, older small dogs seem to be stressed by her since she is playful and energetic. She’s an Australian Shepherd mixed with most likely a Pomsky. She is potty trained, but not quite house trained. She is crate trained though.

How long is fostering needed for?

A few months

Other notes

Athena is a sassy, energetic puppy. She is so smart so it’s a little difficult to train her. She is crate trained and potty trained unless your carpet resembles grass. Old small dogs seemed to be too stressed by her. She will try to get into trash and tries to jump up to things on the counter. She is so cute and fluffy and loovvesss grass! She’s a speedster and is super agile. She loves to play, so much that she needs a reminder to take a nap haha. She doesn’t bark, but she does whine for attention. She’s not afraid of anything. She’s not quite house trained and hasn’t been spayed yet. Athena loves to destroy her toys completely(likes tearing out the stuffing and getting to the squeaker), loves rawhides, bones, food puzzles, etc. She plays well with other dogs that like to play. She doesn’t like to be groomed so I give her a bone while I groom her. She hasn’t been around little kids too much, so she might try to play with them like she would with other dogs.
