Athena urgently needs a foster home
Why is fostering needed?
I adopted this dog and lost my job the day after. I’ve secured a new job that will have me working fulltime 9 hour shifts a day on the other side of town. I won’t be home enough to raise my dog and I can’t leave her home alone for that long. I’m moving in May and should be getting a house, until then it’s just feasible for me to have Athena in my home.
How long is fostering needed for?
Until a forever home for pet is found
Other notes
Athena loves to cuddle with her owner, she will climb up on the couch with you and act like a lap dog. She has her own bed she sleeps in but will sleep on the bed with you if you allow her. She is kennel trained, potty trained, and knows her basic commands.
Athena is extremely sweet with a great temperament, she is not aggressive at all to any dog, cat, or person of any size. Though, she makes a great guard dog and will protect her home and family. She loves to play and get her energy out before she naps for the rest of the day. Athena is very strong and needs proper training, she does very well on walks with me as she is used to me, but new people need to be strong enough to manage her until she learns not to tug. Athena is not yet spayed due to her breed and age, though she started her first heat and should be able to have that done in the near future.
