Arrow urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

Financial challenges are causing family tension around the dog. Believe financial issues will improve in next 6 months or so, but in the meantime needs some assistance.

Note: Ramy is 16 years old. My name is Rebecca Rice and I’m a social worker helping him fill out this form. Ramy and his dog are very bonded and temporary fostering has been a really hard decision for him to make.

My phone number is 206-395-9149 and my email is rrice@esf-r.org.

How long is fostering needed for?

A few months

Other notes

Arrow is a husky but has been living in an apartment and has a very calm energy. He is very friendly and loves to be petted. He hasn’t lived with young kids, but has been around them and is gentle and doesn’t jump. He has lived in a home with a person with mobility issues and is careful around people with canes/walkers.

Arrow is very smart, loves walks and getting treats. He has no issues with food guarding or aggression. He has not been around cats, but since he’s a husky it’s probably safer to keep him away from a home with cats. He does not have aggression toward other dogs, and is playful with them.

Arrow is an active dog, but can also relax and be snuggly. He is a really special dog, and just needs a safe spot to land for a bit while his family works out financial issues.
