Apollo urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

My wife is going through a bipolar manic episode that doesn’t show signs of stopping anytime soon. She has depleted our savings and is in and out of psychiatric hospitals these past couple months. I have had to pick up extra jobs to try to cover expenses, but am very short on money and time and am struggling to properly care for my dog.

How long is fostering needed for?

Long term

Other notes

Apollo is a GREAT dog. He is such a sweetheart. His favorite activity, and his top talent, is napping. He’s always been quite low energy. Apollo does enjoy walks and playing, but he’s more than ready to relax right afterwards. He is terrible at fetch, and just adorably awkward all-around 🙂 He is very low maintenance, but will insist on a minimum of couple of butt scratches a day. He can be a bit shy at first around dogs, and is pretty scared of cats, but he warms up within a few days. He would do well in a home with other friendly animals, and would also be happy being the only animal in the home. He does get car sick sometimes on car rides longer than 30 minutes, although this has improved as he’s gotten older.
