Leo urgently needs a foster home
Why is fostering needed?
We took im a 1.5 year old husky from a young man that was not able to care for him. Per previous owner he had him since he was a puppy and was great around adults and kids. He is food/toy protective and has been aggressive when close. We had a biting episode, and he’s also been playfully mouthing a good amount. We have a toddler that just wants to get close to him so this will not work out. Outside of that he’s house broken, we’ve been giving him a lot of exercise so he’s been well behaved inside the home, walks well on a leash, per the previous owner he has not been socialized to other dogs, he is very curious when we walked by one but has not shown any aggression. I really do not want to take him to a shelter, I want him to be able to experience the joy of exploring the outdoors and having a big yard to run in. The previous owner did not have time for him and he spent most of his time indoors with little exercise.
How long is fostering needed for?
Until a forever home for pet is found
Other notes
No kids. Unsure about other dogs. Prefers males. Ideally someone active with a big backyard. Someone that can deal with food/toy protection aggressiveness
