Leroy urgently needs a foster home
Why is fostering needed?
My father’s dog is in need of a foster home until space opens at the Arizona Animal Welfare League. My father had emergency brain surgery and is no longer living independently. He is therefore, not able to care for his dog, Leroy, who is 8 years old. Leroy is neutered and well behaved around all ages. Leroy would do best as the only pet in the home.
How long is fostering needed for?
Long term
Other notes
Leroy is playful and happy. He loves attention. He is used to being the only dog and needs to be the only pet. He is friendly with people of all ages. He does not lunge or bark when passing by other dogs. He is used to having a dog door to the backyard and having the run of the house. He is crate trained. He has had basic training and earned his canine good citizen. He would make a perfect emotional support dog for someone.
