Sophie urgently needs a foster home

Why is fostering needed?

My husband is in the midst of cancer treatment 2.5 hrs from home. We have extended times away for the treatments. We are estimating 3-6 months.

How long is fostering needed for?

Sophie is a friendly, easy going , affectionate older dog. She sleeps most of the day but likes human interaction. She is house trained – generally needs outside 3x per day.Recently received clean bill of health from vet. (Except for being over weight)

We need an immediate foster or re-home due to extended out of town stays for medical treatments.
She eats very quickly and is always hunting for food. We think she ,at have been abandoned as a puppy.
